CourtNote Android Data Deletion Request ​

This page applies to the Android app listed on Google Play as CourtNote.

CourtNote Android does not provide an account system and does not operate its own server for your cases, documents, schedules, preservation deadlines, local backups, or app settings. Those records are stored on your device by default, so there is no account to delete and no server-side copy of your case data for us to erase.

Request deletion ​

Use this direct request link if you want us to delete support or feedback records held by us:

Steps users should follow ​

  1. Open the email link above, or email support@courtnote.app manually.
  2. Use the subject CourtNote Android data deletion request.
  3. Include the email address you used to contact support, the approximate feedback date, and the type of support records you want deleted.
  4. Do not attach new case files, identity documents, or other sensitive files to the deletion request.

Data that you can delete directly on your device ​

  1. Open CourtNote and delete documents, PDFs, cases, schedules, or preservation records from the relevant app screens.
  2. Clear caches and temporary files from the storage screen in app settings.
  3. Delete encrypted .cnbackup files, or legacy ZIP backups, from the location where you saved them. Backups are encrypted with your own password and cannot be recovered or decrypted by us.
  4. Remove the CourtNote schedule widget from your home screen if you added one.
  5. Manage or revoke calendar and notification permissions in Android system settings.
  6. Clear CourtNote app data or uninstall the app from Android system settings if you want to remove local app data from the device.

Mirrored system calendar events ​

If you enabled system calendar sync, CourtNote wrote mirror events into your system calendar. Deleting a schedule inside CourtNote also attempts to delete its mirror event, but clearing app data or uninstalling the app does not remove events that were already written. To remove them, either delete the schedules inside CourtNote before uninstalling, or delete the remaining CourtNote events directly in your system calendar app.

Data we delete after receiving a request ​

  • Support or feedback emails previously sent to support@courtnote.app.
  • Related support records that we hold to process or reply to your support request.

We normally confirm within 30 days of receiving the request.

Data that is not deleted through this page ​

  • Cases, documents, schedules, preservation records, local backups, app settings, and cached files stored on your device. You must delete these from the app or Android system settings.
  • CourtNote mirror events already written into your system calendar. Delete them in CourtNote before uninstalling, or in your system calendar app.
  • Google Play purchase, refund, subscription, and payment records. These are managed by Google Play and must be handled through Google Play order, subscription, or payment support channels. Cancelling a subscription is a billing action only: it does not delete any data on your device, and deleting local data does not cancel a subscription.

Data that may be retained for an additional period ​

  • We may retain records that must be kept for legal compliance, security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or necessary recordkeeping.
  • If retention is required, we will delete or anonymize the retained records after the legally required or reasonably necessary retention period ends.

如果您希望我们删除由我们持有的支持或反馈记录，请使用以下直接请求链接：

用户应执行的步骤 ​

  1. 点击上方邮件链接，或手动发送邮件至 support@courtnote.app。
  2. 邮件标题建议写明 CourtNote Android data deletion request。
  3. 请说明您用于联系支持的邮箱、反馈的大致日期，以及希望删除的支持记录类型。
  4. 请不要在删除请求中附加新的案件材料、证件图片或其他敏感文件。

您可直接在设备上删除的数据 ​

  1. 在庭记中删除相应的文档、PDF、案件、日程或保全记录。
  2. 在应用设置的存储页面清理缓存与临时文件。
  3. 在您保存备份的位置删除加密的 .cnbackup 文件或旧版 ZIP 备份。备份由您自己的密码加密，我们无法恢复或解密。
  4. 如果您添加过庭记日程小组件，请把它从桌面移除。
  5. 在 Android 系统设置中管理或撤回日历、通知权限。
  6. 如需移除设备上的本地应用数据，可在 Android 系统设置中清除庭记应用数据，或卸载应用。

系统日历中的镜像事件 ​

如果您开启过系统日历同步，庭记会在系统日历中写入镜像事件。在庭记中删除日程时，应用会尽力删除对应的镜像事件；但清除应用数据或卸载应用不会自动删除此前已写入的事件。如需清理，请在卸载前先在庭记中删除相关日程，或直接在系统日历应用中删除剩余的庭记事件。

我们在收到请求后会删除的数据 ​

  • 您此前发送到 support@courtnote.app 的支持或反馈邮件。
  • 我们为处理或回复支持请求而持有的相关支持记录。

我们通常会在收到请求后 30 天内回复确认。

不通过本页面删除的数据 ​

  • 保存在您设备上的案件、文档、日程、保全记录、本地备份、应用设置和缓存文件。这些数据需要您在应用内或 Android 系统设置中自行删除。
  • 已写入系统日历的庭记镜像事件。请在卸载前于庭记中删除，或在系统日历应用中删除。
  • Google Play 购买、退款、订阅和付款记录。这些记录由 Google Play 管理，请通过 Google Play 的订单、订阅或付款支持渠道处理。取消订阅只是计费行为，不会删除设备上的任何数据；同样，删除本地数据也不会自动取消订阅。

可能额外保留一段时间的数据 ​

  • 出于法律合规、安全、防滥用、争议处理或必要留档原因必须保留的记录，可能不会立即删除。
  • 如依法或基于合理必要性需要继续保留，我们会在法定或合理必要的保留期限届满后删除或匿名化相关记录。
